Fall Book Fair
Our annual Fall Book Fair is a great time for your students to reconnect with favorites and find new authors and book characters.
Watch Class Dojo and Fb for more info. Book Fair Flyers will come home before the fair starts.
Curriculum Night & PTO Meeting
School wide curriculum night with grade level sessions from 5pm-6:30pm.
Between sessions, come to the multipurpose room (the gym) for a brief PTO General Meeting.
At 5:30, we’ll have a short informational session and you can hear about the ways that volunteers are supporting our students and what we do with all the funds YOU help raise. This is a great time to meet other parents, connect with your PTO board, and find ways to get involved.
Treat to Lunch (1st) & Duty-Free Lunch
Our teachers normally spend their lunch time with the class. Thanks to our volunteers, once a month the PTO is able to give them a chance to have lunch outside the cafeteria. There is always a lead volunteer on hand to coordinate and help you know what to do. So, this is an easy way to get involved.
During this time, the PTO also treats one group of staff (usually by grade level) each month to a lunch purchased and brought in by the PTO.

Fun Run Launch
The single biggest fundraising event of the year is also one of the most energetic.
Each student has the chance to be sponsored by friends and family as they run to raise funds for the school, show school spirit, and have fun outside with their friends. Grades come and run laps in groups while surrounded by cheering teachers, friends, and families.
Treats, themed prizes, music, and more.

Frye's Creek Family Farm Spirit Event
Join us for some family fun at Frye’s Creek Family Farmfrom 11-4 to enjoy some fall fun.
A percentage of proceeds will be donated back to the FES PTO.
Activities include: corn maze, hay ride, apple cannon, dual slides, sand box, corn box, dirt track, and more!

10th Annual Fun Run!

This is one of the greatest volunteer events of the school year!

Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time to celebrate the amazing teachers who make a difference in our children’s lives every day. Throughout the week, we’ll be showing our gratitude with small tokens of thanks and school-wide appreciation activities. Parents are encouraged to join in by sharing a note, gesture, or simple “thank you” to help make our teachers feel extra special!
Luncheon date TBD. We’ll need volunteers to cover lunch duty for classroom teachers.

Fun Run Open Meeting
An open meeting for anyone interested in helping with this year’s Fun Run.
We’ll meet in the school cafeteria at 6pm. You may enter through the outside door (immediately to the left of the Multipurpose Room/Gym doors.)
If you’re looking for a focused window of volunteering, this may be it.
We’ll spend the next month setting up for the Fun Run and will launch on October 8. After two weeks of fundraising, event Day is October 22.
There are numerous times and many ways to help out.
Opportunities to get involved include:

Helping with incentive events
Event day setup, help, and cleanup
Designing and decorating for the theme
Planning prizes and incentives for students
Networking with sponsors, local businesses, and support groups

Welcome back everyone! We hope your summer was wonderful and are excited to see you around the school.
Kindergarten parents & guardians, your child will go either Monday or Tuesday, but not both. This helps the younger students ease into school. All students will report on Wednesday.

Duty-Free Lunch (all)
Our teachers normally spend their lunch time with the class. Thanks to our volunteers, once a month the PTO is able to give them a chance to have lunch outside the cafeteria. There is always a lead volunteer on hand to coordinate. So, this is an easy way to get involved.
During this time, the PTO also treats one group of staff (usually by grade level) each month to a lunch purchased and brought in by the PTO.

Orbit Earth Expo
The spring 2026 assembly — Orbit Earth Expo — will give students a chance to learn about space and the relationships between the earth, our moon, and the sun.
In addition to the stunning visual of seeing enormous blow ups in our gym, the program will also cover certain concepts that are an important part of our education standards. It’s bound to be a treat for the young scientists at our school.
